This French fragrance brand was first established by the Carrière brothers, founders of the Royal Wax Manufacture (now known as Cire Trudon), in 1889. They helped transform the use of candles from something that was once for solely religious purposes to a decorative, functional object that could be appreciated and burned in the home. Today, its nature-inspired candles are made in Normandy and each one highlights a singular botanical or floral note with a clear, piercing scent and illustration.
“There are so many herbs and unexpected notes highlighted in these candles. I love burning the Thyme or Tomato in the kitchen, and Lavender or Sandalwood throughout my apartment.” - Jamie Rosen, Wellbeing Editor
