Open Editions was founded in 2015 as a collaboration between artist Lauren DiCioccio and designer Braden Weeks Earp. Based in San Francisco, Open Editions works with contemporary artists to create meaningful factory-made products that bring art to daily life. Together and through Open Editions, DiCioccio and Weeks Earp subscribe to the belief that design is everywhere and can even be found in the most quotidian of items.
"OE's Thank You tote always puts a smile on my face. Made of recycled taffeta and hand-embroidered in the USA, it was designed to commemorate San Francisco's banning of single-use plastic bags. The Thank You tote combines good design, American manufacturing, and eco-consciousness all in one simple product. What could be better than that?"
