After a combined twenty-five years of experience in the industry, eco-conscious designers Mats Rombaut and Julian Romer launched Virón, a plant-based footwear brand with a sustainable approach to high-fashion. In theme with its ethically-sourced recycled materials, PETA certified products, and use of earth-toned palettes, the Paris-based label’s name is derived from an amalgamation of the French and English word for “environment.” Working with various outside organizations to guarantee transparency, sustainability, and quality, Virón offers a prudent vision of what responsible luxury can be.

The brand's take on the classic low-cap trainer with a raw finish, inspired by the counterculture in the 1960s.
