Akua Objects was founded in 2022 in Copenhagen by Annika Zobel Agerled and Josefine Arthur with a vision to create glassware as poetic objects. Akua Objects embarked on a journey to redefine the essence of tableware, infusing each designed piece with a soulful narrative and an exquisite aesthetic.

The Karl vase is named after Karl, Annika's husband. Different shapes meet and create a sculptural silhouette. The Karl vase could have been born during the art deco period and act as a contemporary piece in Akua Object's poetic universe.

It takes four people to create each Karl vase, and the process is exactly what makes it so precious. Being a product of dedicated craftsmanship and collaboration between four different sets of hands, make the shape of each Karl vase completely unique.
