Founded in 2010 in Buenos Aires by Julian Bedel, Fueguia 1833 is a unique concept in the universe of niche perfumery, synonymous with craftsmanship, innovation, exotism and sustainability. Fueguia 1833 is a tribute to the indigenous communities of South America, guardians of the aromatic and medicinal plants of their lands, and an ode to their preservation. Many of the scents are cultivated using ingredients from a 50-acre plantation in Uruguay, where over one hundred aromatic plants native to South America are grown and distilled in a sustainable way. “My approach to scent has always been driven by connecting with the divine, in a way,” says founder Julian Bedel. “"What we want to do is to use nature to connect with people: these creations go along and partner with you during your entire life."

“Fueguia’s vertically integrated farm to bottle model is one thing, a remarkable thing. But its dreamy scents are otherworldly, a masterfully pure take on natural perfume that elevates fruit and captures flowers in their most ephemeral form.” - Jamie Rosen, Wellbeing Editor
