René-Jules Lalique, master jeweler of Art Nouveau, changed his medium from metal to glass—and earned a place in history. Roughly a century after its opening, his Verrerie d’Alsace glassworks continues to produce some of the world’s most extraordinary crystal. 

Designed by Marie-Claude Lalique, the Zeila Panther embodies the strength and grace of a large attacking feline. Through its design, the Panther's powerful muscles are evident under its crystal fur and numerous spots.
