American designer Deborah Ehrlich moved to Ft. Thomas, Kentucky after college to study under master sculptor Mike Skop. In her travels through Europe, she helped restore the stained glass of St. Stephan’s Cathedral in Vienna and studied design at the Danish Design School in Copenhagen. She returned to New York in 1998 and began her journey of masterful glassware design, amongst artistic ventures.
Focusing primarily on simple, crystal glassware, Ehrlich’s work combines contemporary forms and traditional techniques. From the initial sketches from her Hudson Valley studio, to the hand blown production by master craftsmen in Sweden, Ehrlich's meticulous vision is executed to the finest detail.
