Inspiration comes in many forms. For designer Tina Lutz, it was a gold-framed leather case received as a Christmas gift from her husband. Where some might see a desktop ornament, Lutz saw the building blocks of a handbag—and chance to utilize artisans and resources within her native Germany. Lutz Morris is the happy result. From carryall to crossbody, each streamlined bag features leather from a tannery near Dusseldorf and a thin gold frame crafted by a German company in business since 1860. For each bag sold, Lutz donates $10 to Every Mother Counts, a nonprofit focused on making pregnancy and childbirth safe for all women.
