Mary Ella Gabler is a double pioneer. She founded her own business—a rarity for women in 1973—and introduced the concept of luxury linens to a country raised on poly-cotton. Nearly 50 years later, Peacock Alley continues to lead with Gabler’s sons at the helm. Fine wools and cottons are responsibly sourced, primarily from Portugal, then transformed into sheets, blankets, towels, robes and throws in the company’s Dallas workrooms. The quiet palette and understated designs are timeless, meant to be used and enjoyed every day.
