Yali's origin story begins with designing drinking glasses for a private home. The first collection of tumblers started to go to other houses and from there without much planning, they grew organically, developing in new directions. They now design drinking glasses, decanters, plates and bowls as well as large lamps and flower vases, with many projects coming from collaborations with architects.
All of their glass is handcrafted by the maestros of Murano, Venice using techniques which date back to the 13th century. Living in Venice means having the possibility to look at different types of glass from the Renaissance to the ever so modern Carlo Scarpa.
