Before Illesteva launched in 2010, options for designer eyewear at a fair price point were few and far between. The challenge was to modernize the idea of a simple pair of glasses.

Taking cues from downtown New York, inspiration from around the world, and a passion for modern design, each Illesteva style is fundamentally wearable and globally stylish. With a focus on local artisans and craft, each frame is created in small family-owned factories in Italy and France using only the highest grade materials and a meticulous process; which takes over 90 days and requires more than 50 steps from start to finish. Illesteva preserves the notion that quality comes from attention to process and their dedicated approach is what allows the design to speak for itself.
